About Amanda
Amanda Roser is the Chair of Rural Doctors Foundation.
Her heart has always been in the country. Amanda was born in Central Queensland and lived in Rockhampton until she was 19. Amanda and her family now live on the Gold Coast.
To Amanda, community connection is important. She values being able to have an impact for the good of the community. When it comes to healthcare, Amanda believes every community has the right to it. She has extensive experience in health, medical and tertiary education sectors. She is passionate about using her skills and experience to further the cause of rural and remote health equities.
Amanda is the General Manager, Corporate Services for Guide Dogs Australia. She was previously the Executive Director of Business Services for the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network.
